Managing Partners Roundtables

Each month, the managing partners of many leading law firms meet privately in Los Angeles at an exclusive hotel. These partners, who include some of the highest tier of the national 100 firms, compare notes and get practical advice from Ed Poll, the country's leading expert in law firm profitability.

The setting is a unique opportunity, not offered in any trade association or bar association, for the heads of these leading law firms to speak frankly with each other and get guided comments from their peers. These managing partners learn from each others' experience to avoid mistakes and capitalize on good ideas. They compare the ideas that worked -- and those that didn't.

Law business expert Ed Poll has hosted the Managing Partners Roundtables since 1995. The partners and executive directors who attend these events trust Ed's opinion and respect his judgment. They get confidence from his track record of helping successful law firms build on their own talents and troubled law firms find the right path back to profitability.

Membership is based on a six month cycle and entitles the managing partner to attend monthly meetings and be a member of LawBiz® Forum, an electronic edition with exclusive access to the Managing Partners board. The size of our Roundtable is limited to preserve confidentiality, maximize interaction, and maintain the collegial format of our forum.
